Sea Berry Balancing Facial Oil

Sea buckthorn helps repair and reduce the appearance of fine lines, improves skin hydration, and is even beneficial for breakout-prone skin. Some research has shown that sea buckthorn can help reduce sebum production, reduce the occurrence of breakouts, and speed up healing. It is loaded with skin-loving, free-radical-fighting compounds such as vitamins A, C, E, fatty acids like Omega 3, 6, 9, phytosterols, flavonoids, and the highest percentage available of the very rare Omega 7. 

Tamanu oil is has skin-healing, antibacterial and regenerative properties. It is rich in antioxidants and also has anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it one of the best oils for acne-prone skin. 

CoQ10 is naturally occurring substance present in human cells. When applied topically it works as a barrier to keep free radicals at bay and enhances the skin's ability to regenerate itself.

Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, a superior exfoliant that sloughs away dead skin cells to help reveal a brighter, more youthful complexion.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil, also known as barberry fig oil, this luxurious and nutrient-dense super oil is a powerhouse skincare ingredient. It has a higher Vitamin E content than any other oil on the market, making it a potent source of natural antioxidants. There is also Vitamin K, known to brighten the skin, belatains (a super-antioxidant), and essential fatty acids such as linoleic acid (omega-6). Prickly pear oil easily absorbs into the skin, protects against free radicals, refines uneven texture, helps prevent premature aging, provides nutrients, and brightens a complexion. 

Blue Chamomile essential oil, is one of the most powerful healing oils for skin. This oil is rich in chamazulene which is what gives the essential oil its blue color. It has cooling, antioxidant, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties to help control bacteria. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties and powerful skin healing effects that work wonders on problematic skin.

Helichrysum, also known as immortelle or everlasting, is a small yellow flower with amazing healing and regenerative properties. The essential oil extracted from the bloom and is a powerful healer. Used in synergy with blue chamomile, it creates a powerhouse skin healing combo, great for diminishing redness and speeding the healing of blemishes. 

Pomegranate oil aids in cell regeneration and improving skin's ability to retain moisture. Pomegranate oil is high in flavonoids, antioxidants (including ellagic acid) which help prevent UV damage. It also contains the rare fatty acid omega-5 (punicic acid) which is known to soothe the skin and prevent moisture loss. 

If you prefer a lighter application, mix a few drops in your palms with one of our mists to create a light emulsion. In the AM, follow with SPF of choice. Use 1-2x daily for best results. 
Note: Sea buckthorn berry oil is a magical oil, but it’s deep orange hue can stain fabrics - not skin though. We recommend letting this facial oil sink in for at least 15 minutes before going to bed to avoid staining your pillow cases.
