Hard to define. Maybe it's me.

It's been a while since I used a pencil liner - I've been using liquid. I find it hard to get nice clean lines with the pencil. It's very soft and smooth and smudgy. I usually
smooth it out with a thin brush.

Eyeliner pencil

I like this pencil but I find the lead a little hard. Perhaps as I use it; it will soften.

Good colour

As a ginger, I often look for a brown instead of a black eye liner, which can be hard to find. When I picked up "Hearth", I knew I found a good product. It is a warm brown colour that goes on smooth and keeps its colour throughout the day.
