Roland Pine Shea Butter Soap
You might wonder how the name Roland Pine evolved. Elizabeth Grubaugh, Soap & Paper's designer lived up in Tuxedo Park, NY and was inspired by the lush forests of Harriman State Park on the drive to their studio in Garnerville, NY. This caused her to draw the pinecone you see on their Roland Pine packaging.
The fragrance was born and matched to the pattern, and they decided they wanted to pay homage to our Rockland County roots, and named their pine Roland after a member of the Harriman family, Roland Harriman. Seemed fitting, and the rest is history!
