Do I really need to moisturize my intimate bits?
Tbh, you'd be surprised how many of us have ingrown hairs and dry skin down there! Waxing, shaving, tight clothing, cold weather, exercise, toilet paper, traditional soaps and body washes and hormonal fluctuations that occur during your period or menopause are all causes. Left unattended, dry vulva or perineum skin can start to become painful and crack and bleed. And, unattended ingrown hairs can become cystic.
How much product do I need to use at one time?
The Carrot & Calendula Intimate Salve is a very concentrated, waterless formula. It's packed with high-quality oils, butters and herbal extracts and delivers powerful nourishing properties. We recommend a pea-sized amount and massaging well into the vulva and perineum. This little jar packs a big punch, we promise ;)
After cleansing, scoop out a small amount of the Carrot & Calendula Intimate Salve and gently rub between fingertips to warm. Massage well into vulva, perineum and in between bum cheeks. Do not insert into vagina.
Pro Tip: Don’t double-dip! Use a Q- Tip or clean fingers every time you remove product so your salve stays fresh.
