Rose absolute - It takes 100 roses to create 1 drop of this magical oil. Studies have shown that rose absolute can help reduce stress (specifically cortisol levels) when the aroma is inhaled. Amyris Essential Oil - This essential oil has a grounding, woodsy aroma that is similar to sandalwood. The oil has traditionally been used to enhance meditation. The tree is indigenous to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Our essential oil is distilled from fallen branches and dead wood - a harvesting process that not only prevents overharvesting but helps prevent forest fires. Produced in the Dominican Republic and GC/MS tested.
Squalane - An excellent moisturizer and emollient, squalane helps boost skin hydration, strengthen the skin barrier and improves the appearance of skin. It is a naturally occurring component of human sebum, making it a quick absorbing oil, and an antioxidant, which helps prevent extrinsic skin aging. Our squalane is derived from olive oil and is vegan.
Jojoba Oil - Jojoba oil is naturally high in Vitamin E and has the chemical makeup that is close to our skin's own sebum, making it a quick absorbing oil.
Take long, slow breaths to deeply inhale the aroma as you massage into skin. For optimal absorption, apply to wet skin after bathing (when applied onto wet skin, this body oil will transform into a fast absorbing lotion). You can also use it as a massage oil or bath oil. Alternatively, for an even more luxurious experience, you can mist your body with Apoterra's Rose Essential Hydration Mist (made with rose water and hyaluronic acid) and follow with this body oil.
